Children's activities including ‘pebble painting’ and ‘decorate a mini Christmas Tree’ are available every weekend and do not need to be booked in advance.

The Dog Christmas Jumper Parades will be at 10.30am and 1.30pm on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December.

Entry to the market is free and dogs are welcome.

MAGICAL FATHER CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE 

Come on a magical adventure into our Narnia inspired Christmas wonderland. You’ll be greeted by Mrs Claus who will give you a list of festive items she has cleverly hidden for you to find along your way through the icy forest to Father Christmas Grotto.

Arriving at the grotto you'll get the chance for a little chat with the big man himself, take some photographs and tell him what you would like for Christmas.

Most excitingly Santa and Mrs Claus will gift you your very own ‘baby spruce tree'. Plant it at home for a little bit of Christmas magic all year round. It will add a little bit of the North Pole to your back yard, garden or balcony.

WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP

Join us for a wreath making workshop at Woodthorpe Park’s festive Christmas Market.

Add a touch of homemade style to your Christmas with our knowledgeable and skilled guides, who will work alongside you in our winter wonderland greenhouse to help you create and craft your own, one-of-a-kind wreath.

The workshop includes everything you need to make your wreath from foliage through to a choice of greenery and decorations that suit your style.

Our workshops are small allowing you plenty of opportunity to work with our team, so if you’re experienced or a novice you will have all the guidance you need to create your very own masterpiece.

The workshops are held within our Christmas Market allowing you to soak up the festive vibes with live performances, an artisan craft market, festive plants, freshly cut Christmas trees and refreshments. It’s a real day out.

FRESHLY CUT CHRISTMAS TREES

We have a range of Nordmann and Fraser Fir in sizes ranging from 5ft to 8ft.

We also have a selection of ‘forever’ potted Norway Spruce and Nordmann Fir in sizes between 3ft and 4ft..

As in the past sustainability is top priority so all trees are sourced from a locally based grower and have only travelled a short distance to get to our site.

Also, our wonderful grower plants a new tree for every tree sold. In fact, they own over 1 million Christmas trees; that’s 350 acres of lungs, filtering up to 22 million kg of CO2 from the atmosphere every year!

We invite you to walk into our winter wonderland, enjoy the festive atmosphere and pick your own tree at our magical Christmas Market which opens on November 25th and runs every weekend until 17th December.

If you can’t make one of our Markets our expert tree staff will also be available every weekday from 10am to 4pm.
